Hello, my name is Wes Bain!

I hold a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Bellarmine University, double majoring in Piano Pedagogy and Music Technology, with a minor in Jazz Studies. I began playing guitar when I was in my early teens and, at around the same time, picked up piano and drum set. I have performed in a variety of settings, from rock bands, pop cover groups, jazz groups, percussion ensembles, choral groups, and solo classical performances.

I originally became interested in music performance and writing because of video games and rock 'n' roll! That being said, as I ventured into serious musical studies, I learned to love all types of music and love to dig into the theory of it all. 

Currently, I offer private lessons for piano, drum set, guitar, and music theory. Group lessons are also available if you are interested in learning to perform with others.

While the curriculum will include using some industry-standard instructional books, I prefer to customize lesson plans based on your individual aptitude. After our first lesson, I will curate customized practice schedules at varying degrees to ensure you are making the progress you desire week over week.
